Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Scratchy, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Who can use Scratchy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Nature of the platform

Scratchy is a technology marketplace that connects customers (Scratchies) with independent providers (Scratchers). Scratchy is not the provider of the physical service.

Scratchers are independent providers — not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Scratchy.

Scratchy does not provide massage, medical care, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical services. Scratchers offer back scratching, scalp scratching, head scratching, and light sensory relaxation. All sessions are fully clothed, consent-first, and non-clinical.

Bookings & payments

• Prices are shown before you confirm a booking.
• Payment is processed securely through our payment partners.
• Cancellation and refund terms are shown at the time of booking.
• Scratchers set their availability and accept bookings independently.

Session rules, conduct & safety

Customers acknowledge the normal risks of in-person services and agree to follow all session rules and boundaries. Everyone agrees to behave respectfully and lawfully at all times. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Sexual conduct, sexual requests, or demands for nudity.
• Harassment, coercion, threats, or intimidation.
• Weapons of any kind.
• Intoxication or other unsafe conduct.
• Recording without consent.
• Off-platform arrangements.

Pausing or ending a session

Either party can pause or end a session at any time if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if boundaries are violated.

Enforcement & platform safety

Scratchy may suspend, remove, investigate, report, refund, or deny access to any user based on safety concerns, legal concerns, or rule violations.

Vetting is not a guarantee

Background checks, ID checks, application review, and vetting reduce risk but do not guarantee safety, suitability, or future conduct. Users understand that Scratchy cannot guarantee the actions of any customer or Scratcher.

Becoming a Scratcher

By applying to become a Scratcher, you authorize Scratchy and/or its verification partners to conduct identity checks, background checks, application review, and other safety or eligibility screening. Approval to use the platform is not guaranteed, and Scratchy may approve, deny, suspend, or remove any account based on safety, eligibility, legal, or policy concerns.

Disputes between users

Disputes between customers and Scratchers are primarily between those parties, with Scratchy acting as the platform to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Limitation of liability & release

Scratchy provides the platform "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service or interactions between users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scratchy is not liable for the acts, omissions, conduct, statements, services, or behavior of any customer, Scratcher, or third party using the platform. Users agree that in-person sessions involve inherent risks and that they participate voluntarily. Users release Scratchy from claims arising out of user-to-user interactions, session conduct, personal injury, discomfort, property issues, cancellations, disputes, or boundary violations, except where liability cannot legally be limited.

Dispute resolution

To the fullest extent permitted by law, users agree that any dispute with Scratchy or another platform user should first be raised with Scratchy for review and attempted resolution. Users agree to bring any claim individually and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version here and update the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
